Lisa began her career in the business field as an accounting specialist. In her position, she was responsible for handling accounts receivable/accounts payable and financial statements/month end reporting. Lisa transitioned to the construction field in 1996. As vice president of a construction firm, she was responsible for accounts receivable/accounts payable, human resources and payroll, office management, and financial analysis. Lisa became president of Project One in 2009. She is an integral component to the financial strength of the company.

As President, Lisa directly handles all day-to-day operations and management of the company. She helps maintain the company’s financial strength by preparing financial goals, strategies, and budgets. Other roles within the company include office manager, handling accounts receivable/accounts payable, and developing and implementing company policies. Lisa oversees all personnel, policies and procedures, and financial decisions of the company. Lisa earned an associate degree in accounting and business management from St. Cloud Business College in 1990.

Jim has more than 30 years of experience in the construction field. His construction experience began in 1988 working as a project superintendent. Responsibilities included supervising projects, project scheduling, and managing staff in the field. In 1994, Jim became vice president of a contracting firm. As vice president, Jim took on the roles of lead estimator, lead project manager, project supervisor, human resource manager, and office manager. Applying his wealth of construction knowledge and experience, Jim became vice president of Project One Construction in 2009.

As Vice-President, Jim is directly responsible for the daily management and operation of the company. Jim’s, extensive construction experience allows him to provide the vision and leadership necessary for continued growth and success of Project One. Jim holds the MN Department of Labor & Industry (DLI) Contractor License.

Duane oversees our multi-family and senior housing division. Duane brings 40 years of construction experience to Project One with an extensive background in multi-family construction including; senior housing, memory care, apartments, historic building conversion, family housing – both new and rehab, hotel renovation, residential, retail and commercial developments.

Duane has managed multiple projects in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Indiana, Texas, Florida and Colorado. Duane delivers solid experience for pre-construction planning, problem solving, estimating, project bidding, team building, contract management and project scheduling. He enables every project from the start to become cost effective and ensures timely completion. Everyone involved can benefit from his forward thinking and positive “can do” attitude.

Jeff brings over 30 years of construction experience. Jeff started with Project One in the fall of 2009, as a Project Coordinator and quickly excelled into Project Management. He stands firmly on the three pillars of strategic planning; efficiency, engaging the work force around him, and fiscal responsibility. Jeff’s focus is on the execution of the strategies to make projects highly effective, productive and successful.

Jeff’s extensive history in the residential sector enabled him to work with a myriad of consumers and stakeholders. Jeff has taken that experience to a new level in the commercial building industry. He enjoys the opportunity to coordinate with owners, architects, state and local planners, and subcontractors. Jeff is comfortable working on projects of all sizes ranging from small office renovations to large multi-unit rehabs and MN-DOT new construction.

Amanda has been with Project One Construction for more than 6 years. Amanda’s prior experience was in the banking and accounting industry. As Assistant Project Manager, she is responsible for prevailing wage reporting, employment goals and hiring requirements. Amanda’s organization skills provide support for subcontractor / supplier contract administration and strategic assistance for the Project Managers.   Amanda also has the role of Safety Coordinator, and is responsible for inspecting project sites for safety compliance and assuring a safe work environment for employees with Project One Construction. 

Tony came on board to Project One Construction in the fall of 2015 after spending the previous 14 years as a construction manager for a large affordable real estate developer in the twin cities.

Tony brings a wealth of construction knowledge from the developer/owner side of projects.  He has knowledge of owner financing requirements and can be of assistance during the initial concept phase of construction.  Tony’s primary construction experience is with multi-family occupied unit renovations, site work as wells as commercial (Tenant Improvements) and municipal projects. Past project owners have commented on Tony’s ability to foresee issues so that accommodations can be made to avoid lengthy delays or unforeseen costs.  The “forward thinking” Tony employs is of great benefit to project developers/owners.  With the help of a Great Team at Project One, the customers’ needs are truly met from Concept to Completion!
